Acting Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met on Tuesday with the Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs of China Gu Zhaoxi, who heads the Chinese delegation, which arrived in Yerevan to the inauguration ceremony of re-elected Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

Minister Nalbandian stressed that the strengthening of the traditionally friendly relations with China is one of the main directions of Armenia’s foreign policy. He also noted the importance of the dynamic development of cooperation in recent years, the press service of Armenian MFA informed Armenian News -NEWS.am. It was emphasized during the meeting that the cooperation between Armenia and China should be focused on the industry, agriculture, science and education.

The head of Chinese delegation stressed that further development and deepening of relations with Armenia is a significant goal for China.
