YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily is attempting to get information, from Armenian capital city Yerevan’s Nubarashen Mental Hospital, as to the condition of arrestee Vrezh Galstyan, 25, who on March 22 had intruded into the National Assembly (NA) area and, as a result, an NA security service member had rendered him ineffective with a firearm, the daily reports.          

“Health Ministry Chief Psychiatrist Samvel Torosyan solely informed that Vrezh Galstyan is at Nubarashen Mental Hospital.  

‘You may find [it] out from the investigators; we do not give any information,’ he told Zhoghovurd.  

So, it is unclear as to whether the conjecture of mental illness is approved, or whether Galstyan will be considered insane, some time thereafter, [and] remain unpunished,” Zhoghovurd writes.
