YEREVAN.- Acting Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian received on Wednesday Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister Andrii Olefirov.  

Ukrainian official arrived in Yerevan to attend swearing-in ceremony of President Serzh Sargsyan.

Speaking about bilateral relations, Nalbandian gave appraisal of progress registered in cooperation between the states in different areas. He said there are opportunities to expand and deepen collaboration.

The sides discussed organization of mutual visits, cooperation within the framework of EU Eastern Partnership project.

Edward Nalbandian touched upon the efforts of Armenia and international community targeted at achieving peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict.

Speaking about Ukraine’s chairmanship in the OSCE, officials underscored importance of the visit of OSCE Chairperson-in-office Leonid Kozhara to Armenia scheduled for June.
