YEREVAN.- Acting Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received on Wednesday Canada’s Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Deepak Obhrai.

Expressing gratitude for warm reception, Obhrai said he was happy to represent Canada at the inauguration ceremony of President Serzh Sargsyan and asked to extend congratulations of Canadian Prime Minister.

Edward Nalbandian noted that Armenia and Canada are actively cooperating in bilateral and multilateral formats despite geographic location. The mutual visits are also creating a good basis for further development of relations, he added.

The sides pointed out activities of the Armenia-Canada parliamentary friendship groups. Edward Nalbandian and Deepak Obhrai discussed bilateral ties, exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues.
