YEREVAN.- The Armenian Development Agency organized an Armenia-Czech Republic business forum on Thursday within the framework of an official visit of Czech Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg.
The forum will contribute to expanding trade and economic ties between the states and will allow Armenian businessmen present investment offers.
The forum brought together deputy chairman of Czech industry union, executive director of trade and industry chamber, as well as representatives of 17 Czech companies operating in various fields. Acting Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian and Karel Schwarzenberg addressed the participants, too.
The Armenian Development Agency held presentation of Armenia’s investment environment.
Trade turnover between Armenia and Czech Republic comprised $21.8 million in 2012. Over 20 companies with Czech capital are operating in Armenia.
