YEREVAN.- President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received on Friday Czech First Deputy PM, FM Karel Schwarzenberg.

The sides pointed out intensification of Armenia-Czech Republic contacts and political dialogue the evidence of which is the opening of embassies, cooperation within international agencies and active inter-parliamentary contacts.

They discussed possibilities of increasing trade turnover volume, stressing importance of cooperation in the fields of mutual interest, president’s press service reported.

The sides expressed hope that the arrangements reached during Armenian-Czech business forum will contribute to increase in bilateral trade turnover, elaboration and implementation of new business projects and will promote investments.

The issues on Armenia-EU cooperation, Armenia’s progress in Eastern Partnership project as well as Karabakh peace process and regional developments were discussed.
