YEREVAN. – A few days are left until the formation of Armenia’s new Government, Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun daily reports.   

“Even though the overall mood is such that [President] Serzh Sargsyan is not preparing to make substantial changes in the executive [branch of power], they are waiting in the ruling power’s backstage, and some people will have to give up their posts.     

According to rumors, Serzh Sargsyan is quite unhappy with the work by Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian. The name of Nalbandian is circulated among those that will leave the Cabinet, and Serzh Sargsyan could appoint Vigen Sargsyan, his Chief of Staff, to this position. 

The main intrigue of the formation of the Government is usually connected with the appointment of the Prime Minister. [But] in this regard, the formation of this government is quite uninteresting for the simple reason that it seems that the PM is not expected to change,” Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun writes.
