The Norwegian Nobel Committee has registered Georgian PM Bidzina Ivanishvili as a candidate for Nobel Peace Prize, Gruziya Online reported.

The official letter from the Committee said the application had been accepted.

A group of Georgian Statesmen presented PM Bidzina Ivanishvili and Irma Inashvili-Head of the Media Union “Obiektiv” for the Nobel Peace Prize, for having spread the prisoner abuse video.

The list of nominees also includes the hosts of the Media Union “Obiektivi”, in particular Davit Tarkhan-Mouravi, Soso Manjavidze and Giorgi Lomaia, as well as the author of the footage and Jail № 8 officer Davit Akobia, media.ge reported.
