YEREVAN. – Armenia’s first president, leader of Armenian National Congress (ANC) Levon Ter-Petrosyan met with U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern to discuss the Yerevan municipal elections.
The sides discussed cooperation with other opposition forces as well as possible monitoring of the elections by the international community.
Among the issued discussed during the meeting was the Karabakh peace process, ANC press service reported.
Deputy head of ANC board Levon Zurabyan and board member Avetis Avagyan were present at the meeting.
