EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle said the status quo in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is unacceptable.

During his visit to Baku, Fule said EU supports the establishment of confidence between the parties. He stressed that the Union supports the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group, APA reported.

EU Commissioner arrived in Baku to discuss bilateral cooperation and Azerbaijan’s progress in the Eastern Partnership project. He held meetings with country’s leadership as well as representatives of the opposition and civil society.
