Abkhazian President Sergei Bagapsh appointed new Foreign Minister – Maxim Gvinjia, who came to replace Sergey Shamba. The latter assumed office of Prime Minister.
Before the new assignment, Gvinjia, 34, was holding a post of Deputy Foreign Minister.
