YEREVAN. – Prior to session of the Council of the Heads of Governments of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries, which is convened Friday in Minsk, Belarus, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko received the delegates to this session.
The guests also included the Armenian delegation led by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
Lukashenko noted that the consolidation and the track-record of cooperation within CIS have created good preconditions in terms of discovering new prospects in the integration processes, the Armenian Government press service informs.
According to him, it is indispensable to further deepen the cooperation among the CIS member countries. The Belarusian President also stressed the importance of the CIS free trade zone agreement.
