YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received The World Bank (WB) Executive Director Frank Heemskerk.
Sargsyan expressed satisfaction with the collaboration with WB, and expressed a hope that the cooperation will further expand in the future.
In this context, the interlocutors discussed the WB-funded projects that are implemented in Armenia and the avenues for broadening these undertakings, the Armenian Government press service informs.
Upon the request of the WB Executive Director, PM Sargsyan also spoke about Armenia’s economic situation, the ongoing reforms in the country, and the steps that are envisioned in this direction.
In his turn, Frank Heemskerk pledged to present to The World Bank the Armenian Government’s considerations for expanding collaboration.
