YEREVAN. – Croatia’s newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Ivan Starčević—whose diplomatic residence is in Athens—, on Monday presented the copy of his credentials to Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan.

Congratulating the ambassador on his appointment, Mnatsakanyan expressed a hope that Armenian-Croatian relations will achieve progress during the diplomat’s tenure. He added that Armenia underscores the need to strengthen cooperation with Croatia. 

In his turn, Ambassador Starčević noted that he will make utmost efforts to further intensify bilateral ties and expand collaboration.     

The interlocutors discussed the political discourse, the interparliamentary and trade and economic ties, the legal and contractual framework, and the scientific, education, and cultural collaboration between Armenia and Croatia.  

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Ivan Starčević also reflected on interaction with the European Union.
