YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan on Monday received French Ambassador to Armenia Henri Reynaud.

The Minister spoke about situation in Armenia’s agricultural sector, underscoring France’s role in solving the existing problems. Karapetyan presented assistance programs recently implemented in agriculture.

Ambassador Reynaud was interested in new ways of cooperation. In response, Minister Karapetyan mentioned insurance system, development of greenhouse farms, training of experts and other areas.

The Ambassador offered to submit proposals and conclusions to his government. He invited Minister Karapetyan to visit France to get acquainted with the France’s experience in this field and clarify cooperation prospects with partners.
