The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will be one of the topics to be discussed during the Russia-EU summit opening in Yekaterinburg on Tuesday.  

The Russian delegation is headed by President Vladimir Putin, while European side is presented by President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy and head of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso, ITAR-TASS reported.

During the plenary session, sides will discuss new agreement between Russia and EU, issues on trade and energy, cooperation on air transport, relaxation of visa requirements.

The sides will discuss foreign policy issues, including Syrian crisis, situation in the Middle East, North Africa, Iran’s nuclear program, situation on the Korean peninsula, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, issues on Georgia and Central Asia.
