YEREVAN. – The American national currency’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 413.72/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Thursday.

Foreign currency transactions were not conducted at the stock exchange on Wednesday, and the aforesaid exchange rate is a 0.54-percent, or an AMD 2.22, drop from the previous trading session on Tuesday. This is quite a sharp decline from the Armenian market standards.

Thursday’s sales totaled $1.55 million at the stock exchange.

At the cash foreign currency market of Armenia, the American national currency’s buying exchange rate fell all the way to AMD 412/$1 and its selling exchange rate, to AMD 414.5/$1.
