Representative of Kremlin commented on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s announcement about divorce with his wife Lyudmila.

Spokesperson for the president Dmitry Peskov said the couple’s decision is firm, although divorce has not been registered officially.

Peskov claims the divorce is not connected with other woman in president’s life. In an interview with Ekho Moskvy, Peskov said such assertions are nothing but rumors.

Spokesperson refrained from answering the question of how Putin’s daughters took the news of divorce, urging everyone to respect the private life of the president.
