YEREVAN. – A group of former Armavia pilots and flight attendants will get their salary on Friday, the company’s press office told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

They will be paid salary for November and December at about 3pm, the company said.

As reported earlier, former pilots, flight attendants, and aviation engineers of Armavia Airline Company said that the company had not paid their seven months’ salary. Moreover, social payments were not made in their name ever since 2011. They received the salary, but, then found out that the company had not made social security payments from 2011 to November 2013.

Armavia stopped its operations and declared bankruptcy as of April 1. However, the company has not applied to court to file for bankruptcy yet.
