YEREVAN. – Lithuania’s newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Erikas Petrikas, on Friday presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.
The President congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and wished him productive work, the President’s Press Office informs. Sargsyan spoke about the progress in the development of relations between both countries, and expressed a hope that the ambassador likewise will make the necessary efforts to further strengthen these ties.
In his turn, the Lithuanian diplomat assured that he will do everything possible to make use of the existing potential and to deepen cooperation between the two countries.
President Serzh Sargsyan and Ambassador Erikas Petrikas also exchanged views on Armenian-Lithuanian relations within the framework of the European Union.
