YEREVAN. – The American national currency’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 412.50/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Monday.

The aforementioned exchange rate is a 0.23-percent, or an AMD 0.96, drop from the previous trading session on June 7. To note, in an attempt to reduce the dollar’s seasonal rate of decline, the Armenian Central Bank purchased $500,000 from the market last week. But the volume of intervention was not large.  

Monday’s sales totaled $1.5 million at the stock exchange.

At the cash foreign currency market of Armenia, the American national currency’s buying exchange rate fell all the way to AMD 410/$1 and its selling exchange rate, to AMD 413-414/$1.
