The regional hall of Armenia’s Tavush tries to improve the roads as much as possible, Governor Armen Ghularyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
“The problems of the region are the same as in the whole country: reducing the level of unemployment, job creation. Work is carried out in these directions, too,” the regional governor noted.
Ghularyan recalled that they are conducting agricultural assistance programs, and their partners are the World Bank—in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture—and the Armenian community of France.
As for the situation at the border with Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijanis’ attempts to carry out agricultural activities, the Tavush regional governor confirmed that the situation is stable. According to Armen Ghularyan, ceasefire violations occur regularly, but they receive a corresponding response.
