YEREVAN. – Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan on Monday received newly appointed Russian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volynkin.

Premier expressed hope that Ambassador will make a great contribution to deepening of Armenia-Russia relations.

“We are interested in implementation of joint projects which will serve for further development and expansion of bilateral ties,” Sargsyan said.

Ambassador Volynkin said he would do everything to raise relations to a new level and achieve fulfillment of his tasks.

The sides discussed Armenia-Russia cooperation, integration processes within CIS an EU as well as bilateral issues referring to financing and energy sectors.
