YEREVAN. – The American national currency’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 410.34/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Tuesday.

The aforementioned exchange rate is a 0.52-percent, or an AMD 2.16, drop from the previous trading session on Monday. To note, this is the dollar’s sharpest decline in Armenia so far this year, but the Central Bank might have intervened in the exchange rate. Otherwise, the US national currency’s drop could have been even greater.    

Tuesday’s sales totaled $6.15 million at the stock exchange.

At the cash foreign currency market of Armenia, the American national currency’s buying exchange rate fell all the way to AMD 408-409/$1 and its selling exchange rate, to AMD 411-412/$1.
