YEREVAN. – Guided by the Constitution of Armenia and pursuant to Armenia’s Law On Diplomatic Service, President Serzh Sargsyan on Tuesday granted diplomatic ranks to several persons.  

The diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary is granted to:

Armen Melkonyan – Armenia’s Ambassador to Egypt

Mikayel Minasyan – Armenia’s Ambassador to The Vatican

Hrant Poghosyan – Armenia’s Ambassador to Japan

The diplomatic rank of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary is granted to:

Levon Amirjanyan – Acting Head of Armenian MFA Legal Department

Armen Yeganian – Armenia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Canada

Armen Liloyan – Advisor to Armenian MFA Europe Department

Sargis Ghazaryan – Armenia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Italy

Tigran Mkrtchyan – Adviser to the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs

Armen Papikyan – Armenia’s Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe

Gevorg Petrosyan – Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary of Armenia’s Embassy in the Netherlands
