YEREVAN. – The American national currency’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 411.32 /$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Wednesday.

The aforementioned exchange rate is a 0.24-percent, or an AMD 0.98, rise from the previous trading session—and record drop—on Tuesday. In all likelihood, the Central Bank’s foreign currency intervention had a positive effect on the exchange rate of the dollar.

Wednesday’s sales totaled $2.85 million at the stock exchange.

At the cash foreign currency market of Armenia, the American national currency’s buying exchange rate rose all the way to AMD 410/$1 and its selling exchange rate, to AMD 412/$1.
