YEREVAN. – The former employees of Armenia’s  Armavia Airline Company came to the company office on Wednesday to receive their salaries.

But they did not receive their wages, since the debt holders have not yet transferred the respective amounts to Armavia, which is Armenia’s national carrier and which had announced about starting a bankruptcy process.

The company informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that once the money is transferred, they definitely will pay the people’s salaries. They stressed that they are waiting for the debt holders to pay off the debts. Specifically, Avia Service Company is expected to transfer money either on Wednesday or on Thursday.

“No one will be left without salary,” Armavia Airline Company informed.

To note, Avia Service Company, which prepares and provides on-flight food for airlines that travel to and from Armenia, is a part of Multi Group Concern which belongs to Prosperous Armenia Party Chairman, businessman Gagik Tsarukyan.
