YEREVAN. – Even though summer is not an active period for Armenia’s politics, the ruling Republican Party (RPA) has much work to do.

RPA National Assembly Faction leader, RPA Vice-Chairman Galust Sahakyan told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am

“The agenda includes the raising of salaries; the adverse weather conditions caused great damage to agriculture. So, a quite active political period awaits us,” Sahakyan noted.

As for Armenia’s political opposition, the ANC Vice-Chairman predicted that there is no need to wait for public rallies.

“I was an opposition once, and I believe the oppositional political forces need to work twice as much in this period because you cannot constantly sow seeds of enmity in the political arena, which is shared by everyone. We propose to establish correlations, but the opposition considers this proposal to be an offer to be bought by the authorities.

“I believe there should be mutually open relations between the opposition and the authorities, since the opposition is just as important a tool as the authorities for the development and establishment of the state,” Galust Sahakyan maintained.
