YEREVAN. – Head of the opposition Heritage parliamentary group said despite the fact that the third session of parliament coincided with the elections, the opposition parties were working effectively.
Ruben Hakobyan recalled that the third session coincided with presidential vote and the election to the Council of Elders, that in some way interfered with the work of the parliament.
The opposition forces must form a unified agenda and come up with a number of legislative initiatives, he added.
In his turn, the secretary of Heritage parliamentary faction Zaruhi Postanjyan, referring to the report of the Control Chamber for 2012, said that the party will give assessments when it becomes clear what the purpose of the report is.
“There is something wrong with the report. Unless parliament is a theater, and this document is a part of performance, the leaders of all factions must report about a crime and apply to the prosecutor and the police to protect state interests,” Postanjian said.
