YEREVAN. – Former presidential candidate, leader of Heritage party Raffi Hovannisian said fighting for interests of the people is not his own struggle.

It is common struggle and must involve everyone, Hovannisian told reporters on Saturday prior to the congress of Heritage party. Hovannisian noted he once offered the authorities a path of reforms but his proposal remained unanswered.  

“Although the authorities are speaking about ongoing reforms, real facts are the following: emigration flow is growing. The authorities must take measures to stop migration. I have already made an offer which was rejected,” he said.

Hovannisian believes people are not disappointed with his moves, adding he is always ready to hear the criticism.

During the Saturday congress, Heritage party members will consider the report on activities for the last six months.
