YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia discussed the 2012 report of the Chamber of Control (CC), and, as a result, there cannot be any talk about a large-scale misuse of the budgetary means.
Deputy PM, Territorial Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan noted the aforesaid during Monday’s special session of the National Assembly.
In his words, the infringements, which the CC had found, primarily bring forth economic or civil and legal consequences and very rare criminal consequences.
Gevorgyan, however, noted that the executive branch of Armenia’s authorities has agreed with most CC reports concerning infringements in the construction industry, and the Government’s supervisory agencies likewise record such abuse.
