YEREVAN. – Armavia Airline Company will pay its debts owed to its employees; it has the respective potential.

Armenian Public Council Subcommittee on Aviation member Levon Ghazaryan stated the aforesaid during a press conference on Tuesday. At the same time, he stressed that selling airplanes is no easy task. 

To note, Armavia, which was Armenia’s national carrier, had announced about starting a bankruptcy process. In addition, the company owes unpaid salaries to its employees, and the latter hold regular protests and demand their salaries.     

Furthermore, Armavia had sold airplane tickets up until declaring bankruptcy, and it has not reimbursed the tickets that were already purchased.
