YEREVAN. – Member of the sub-committee on aviation at the Public Council Levon Ghazaryan tried to explain the reasons for high prices at Zvartnots airport.

He said a comfortable building of the airport requires significant expenditures, therefore the prices are high.

At the same time he recalled that aviation fuel is very expensive in Armenia, which is the result of a blockade of borders. Lower prices are better for the citizens, but on the other side, money is raised for the state budget, he added.
