YEREVAN. – The American national currency’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 409.88/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Wednesday.

The US dollar is sharply dropping for two consecutive trading sessions, and the aforementioned exchange rate is a 0.34-percent, or an AMD 1.3, drop from the previous trading session on Tuesday.  

Wednesday’s sales totaled $7.3 million at the stock exchange. In all probability, the Central Bank of Armenia collected the extra dollars from the market. 

At the cash foreign currency market of Armenia, the US dollar’s buying and selling exchange rates are at the AMD 407-411/$1 range.
