STEPANAKERT. – President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan visited the republic’s south-east to hold there an extended consultation attended by members of the National Assembly, Cabinet of Ministers and heads of a several leading companies.

A number of issues related to strengthening the south-east wing’s defense system, development of agriculture, telecommunications and construction fields, as well as road building were discussed during the consultation.

Prime-minister Ara Haroutyunyan, heads of concerned bodies delivered appropriate reports.

President Sahakyan underlined the significance of developing the south-east region, noting that it had all the necessary preconditions for becoming the locomotive of the whole republic’s economic progress.
