YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia will receive €5 million from the European Investment Bank (EIB) to restructure the subway system of capital city Yerevan.
The main objective of this project is to reduce water inflow to the subway tunnels. Also, the subway stations and the service buildings will be upgraded, and the subway cars will be revamped.
The Government on Thursday approved the respective financial agreement that was signed with EIB.
