YEREVAN. – Armenia imported goods amounting to $1.6 billion in Jan.-May 2013. The volume of imports has decreased by 2.6 percent as compared with the same period last year, Armenia’s national Statistical Service reported.

The volume of exports of goods has increased by 9.2 percent, making $561 million.

Consequently, the negative balance totaled $1.07 billion, falling by 4.1 percent as compared with the same period last year.
