The arbitration court of Moscow postponed the preliminary hearings on complaint field by Interstate Bank against Armenia’s Nairit chemical plant to October 30.
Earlier the Interstate Bank has filed a lawsuit against Rhinoville Property Limited, the owner of Nairit, demanding $25,183 million.
The hearings were postponed as the court had no information whether the chemical plant received the notification, Bankir.ru reported.
Nairit was the only plant producing chloroprene rubber in the territory of the former Soviet Union. In 2006 ninety percent of shares were purchased by the British Rhinoville Property Limited for $40 million with the rest 10 percent belonging to the Armenian government.
