YEREVAN. – There are enough efforts and resources to ensure Armenia’s security. There are no grounds to worry about it, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said in Yerevan.
On Tuesday, Patrushev signed several bilateral agreements with the Armenian side.
“We visited #102 military base and were convinced that our militaries, army and border guards, everyone who is working with us, are ensuring Armenia’s security firmly,” he said.
Asked to comment on media reports about selling weapons to Azerbaijan, Patrushev noted that by trading weapons, Russia implements all existing international commitments and demands as well as the laws of the Russian Federation. At the same time he reminded of existing strategic relationship with Armenia.
