Turkish filmmakers plan to shoot a TV series telling about love of and Armenian girl and an Azerbaijani young man.

According to the Turkish media, the TV series will be produced by famous Ay Yapım, Turkey’s leading production company.

Turkish Vatan newspaper reported that shooting of the series may begin as early as next February.  The producers say if everything goes according to the plan, the series may be broadcasted by Kanal D in 2014 fall.

Meryem Uzerli, best known for her role in “Magnificent Century” TV series, will play an Armenian woman and Kivanc Tatlitug – an Azerbaijani man.
