YEREVAN. – Armenia cannot stand aside of the Syrian crisis, leader of the Armenian Communist party said.

Commenting on the geopolitical situation during the Tuesday press conference, Ruben Tovmasyan paid major attention to the situation in the Middle East.

“What is happening in the Arab states? The Americans decided to supply weapons to the Syrian terrorists, but president Bashar Assad is firm in his positions. Here Russia’s position is of great importance. Armenia cannot sand aside of this problem and must carry out wise policy,” he emphasized.
