YEREVAN. – Leader of Heritage party Raffi Hovannisian will continue his tours of Armenia’s regions, Vice Chairman of the party said.

Armen Martirosyan said they will visit all regions during the summer to hold meetings of the party.

“We have already visited Syunik Region, in particular Goris where we met with the Budaghyans and got some information,” Martirosyan told reporters on Wednesday.

As informed earlier, shots were fired nearby Syunik governor Suren Khachatryan’s home in Goris city, on June 2 at around 12:10am, as a result of which one person was killed and two others sustained gunshot wounds and were taken to Goris hospital.

The person who died was Avo Budaghyan, the former Goris mayoral candidate. His brother Artak was wounded.

Martirosyan noted that not a single representative of Syunik Governor’s office and surroundings must hold a post. He said residents of Goris are now more free and feel better.
