BEIRUT. – Two Armenians were wounded in an attack on a minibus in Beirut, Editor-in-Chief of Lebanon’s Aztag Armenian daily Shahan Kandaharian told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
One of the wounded Armenians, who are in stable condition, is a citizen of Lebanon. The incident happened in the eastern part of Beirut in a Christian-populated district.
The age of the Armenians affected by an attack is unclear, Kandaharian said.
“According to unofficial data, a woman is among the wounded,” he added.
According to media reports, at least 20 Syrian refugees were hospitalized in Beirut after masked people attacked a minibus and stabbed the passengers. Many passengers were seriously wounded.
