YEREVAN. – The matter, according to which the Millennium Challenge Corporation of the United States spent $14 million in Armenia to deliver lectures for farmers, is exploited in Armenia.

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan stated the aforesaid during Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.   

As per Sargsyan, this program was adopted in 2007, that is, when the “Millennium Challenge Armenia” Foundation had not yet been formed.

The PM further informed that the American side itself had held the respective contest, determined the recipient of the grant, and given a positive assessment to the results.         

“The meaning of the accusation is incomprehensible,” Sargsyan added.
