STEPANAKERT. – Information was received Wednesday notifying that an accident had occurred on the Stepanakert-Karmir Shuka motorway in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR). 

According to the information, a VAZ 2106-model car and a Toyota had collided, and one person had died and two others were injured.   

The rescuers were dispatched to the scene, where they rendered necessary assistance to the affected, NKR Rescue Service informs. 

As a result of the crash,  the VAZ 2106 driver, S. Mirzoyan, 38, died on the spot. The passengers—N. Abrahamyan, 24, N. Baghdasaryan, 29—and the Toyota driver, A. Shahbazyan, 22, sustained injuries, and they were transferred to capital city Stepanakert Republic Hospital.
