An Armenian delegation, led by Energy and Natural Resources Minister Armen Movsisyan, is in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

On Thursday, Movsisyan attended the ministerial conference titled “Nuclear Energy in 21st Century.”

The Armenian minister delivered a presentation at the event and spoke about the prospects for the development of nuclear energy in Armenia.

In margins of its visit, the Armenian delegation also met with Yukiya Amano, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and Sergey Kiriyenko, General Manager of the Rosatom Nuclear Energy State Corporation (Rosatom) of Russia.
