YEREVAN. – A call was received, on Friday at 6:03am, informing that a house was on fire in downtown of Armenia’s capital city Yerevan.
Five fire and rescue squads and a response team were dispatched to the scene, the Ministry of Emergency Situations news service informs.
It was found out that the rooftop of a house was burning.
The fire was put out at 7:03am.
As a result of the fire, however, the roof (150 square meters) and the second floor—including furniture—(100 square meters) of the house belonging to G. Papazyan were burnt down, and the walls of the first floor were affected by the heat.
