YEREVAN. – Armenia’s existing air defense system enables to fully oversee the encroachment by the adversary, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said during a press conference on Friday.

He stressed that the electronic radio system of the country develops simultaneously, and he recalled that the principle of “solving big problems with small means” is at the basis of the military modernization of Armenia.

“Experience shows that we have always been able to surmount big problems with [the use of] intellect,” Ohanyan said.

The minister noted that Armenia’s air force will improve along the lines of the technico-military cooperation with the country’s strategic partner, Russia.  

“We have started a new phase by signing a new technico-military cooperation program, which enables the enterprises to cooperate directly,” Seyran Ohanyan stressed.
