YEREVAN. – On June 29 Armenia marks the day of missing Karabakh war warriors.

The representatives of the Defense Ministry headed by Seyran Ohanyan, relatives of the killed and missing soldiers visited Yerablur military cemetery and laid wreathс at the memorial to the Missing solders, tombs of Vazgen Sargsyan and General Andranik  

Opening an event commemorating memory of the missing soldiers, Seyran Ohanyan said both the winner and the defeated side have to draw a lesson.

“However, I doubt that the eastern neighbor has drawn a lesson. Otherwise, they would have not voiced warlike statements,” he said.

Due to heroes of the Karabakh war, we managed to preserve territorial integrity of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, he added.  

Around 1,000 Armenian and Karabakh soldiers have been considered missing since the Karabakh war.
