YEREVAN. – The next event of the “Cleaner Yerevan” program was held at Victory Park of the Armenian capital city.   

In line with this program, which is an initiative of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and includes volunteers, Saturday sanitary cleaning activities are conducted at the public areas of the city.

In the words of Yerevan Municipality Utilities Department Head Karlen Ghazaryan, this initiative has received a great positive response, the Municipality Information and Public Relations Department informs.

“The sanitary cleaning companies of Yerevan do clean these areas, but this initiative is an additional opportunity to have a cleaner Yerevan,” Ghazaryan noted.   

Just as before, about 400 volunteers took part in Saturday’s event.
